Tickets for next year’s Hop Farm Music Festival are about to go sale – even though a single act has yet to be named.

Organisers today announced a limited number of reduced priced "Early Bird" tickets will be available this Friday.

Next year’s festival, the fifth to be staged, will take place over three days starting from Friday, June 29.

Prince headlined this year’s bonanza at the Paddock Wood site, performing in front of a sell-out crowd of nearly 30,000 fans.

The Eagles, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry and Brandon Flowers also starred, leaving festival boss Vince Power eager to capitalise on its success.

He said: "We had an amazing year this year. For me personally it was one of the best festivals I’ve done, ever. Having Prince close the festival was phenomenal. Eagles and Morrissey played amazing headline sets, too. Given that Prince’s performance at Hop Farm was one of the defining festival moments of 2011 we’re working even harder to ensure 2012 surpasses everyone’s expectations."

Early Bird tickets go on sale at 9am.

The three-day weekend tickets include camping and parking.

These tickets will be available at the reduced price of £130 until Thursday, December 1 when they will increase.
