Tony Burman says confidence is at rock-bottom in his Dartford squad, but they are going to have to lift themselves to get out of the Blue Square Bet South relegation zone.

The Darts slipped into the bottom three last weekend and were only able to secure a point at home to Staines on Tuesday night which left them third from bottom going into Saturday’s visit of high-flying Farnborough.

However the Darts boss (pictured) called on his players to ignore the pressure of the drop-zone.

He said: "You look at the table and we are all disappointed, but you don’t get relegated in January.

"We need to keep our confidence and spirits up. There is a long way to go."

Lee Burns (hamstring) could miss the visit of Farnborough, with Burman adding: "They are one of the best sides I have seen this season.

"We are going to have to work hard and grind out a result."
